I Still Remember the Trip to London I Took with My Grandma

Last week was my Grandma’s birthday. Unfortunately, my Grandma is no longer with us. In fact, she passed away seven years ago. When she died, it was actually quite sad, because even though she was older in age, she had always been in fairly good health. However, as happens with many elderly people, her health rapidly deteriorated without much advance notice, and as a result, she ended up losing her life. While it is always sad when you lose someone that you love, you always try to remind yourself of all the good times that person had in their life. It’s for that exact reason that my entire family still celebrates my Grandma’s birthday. Even when she got quite old, she still loved her birthday, so it seems like the best day of the year for us all to come together to remember and Honor her.

Like we do every year when we get together for my Grandma’s birthday, we always spend time telling stories about things that we did with her when she was still alive. This year, I told everyone about the trip that I took to London with my Grandma. Although it happened over ten years ago, I still remember it very vividly. The reason that I remember it so well is because it is one of the best trips that I have ever taken. I got to spend eight days in London with my Grandma, and like always, she never acted her age during the entire trip, and was instead full of energy for the whole trip (which meant that we got to do so much together).
